I have enjoyed using my Oculus Go and teaching students more about Virtual Reality. About a week ago, I finally had time to explore Learnroll Immerse and was amazed. Using my Oculus Go headset, I was “placed” in a classroom where I learned about heart disease and how the heart functions and worked through the lesson on heart anatomy.

Throughout the lesson, I was able to interact with the content, to look closely and develop a greater understanding of the heart and heart disease. I was able to respond to questions and manipulate the 3D object in VR. Lessons through the Learnroll Immerse platform are highly engaging for students and this particular lesson would be a great way to learn more, especially for a course in biology or Pre-med.

The lessons are focused on the 5E lesson model: engage, explore, explain, elaborate and evaluate. I recommend signing up to try it for yourself, see the site for more information and to request an access key. Follow the conversation on their blog and keep up with new features and additions to their library.
